Work plan

Figure below shows the overall approach and methodology of BIOCOMEM project. The core of the BIOCOMEM project are the technical activities in WP3, WP4 and WP5. These have connection with WP2 and WP6. In the initial stage of the project, the industrial specifications, technical, economic, environmental and safety requirements defined in WP2 and WP6 will set the framework for early material and technologies selection. Later, the results from WP3, WP4 and WP5 will feed WP2 and WP6 for separation systems design and final REACH, LCA, circularity and plastic footprint analysis. From early on, the results from WP2 to WP6 are feed to WP7, for early business case definition, clear understanding of market barriers and needs, regulatory framework and potential risks. In addition, WP7 will also provide support to exploitation of project results through highly focused communication and dissemination activities. WP1 ensures an effective project management all along the execution of the work plan.
