Dr. Jean-Jacques FLAT learnt Chemistry at Ecole Européenne des Hautes Etudes des Industries Chimiques de Strasbourg and got his Engineer degree in 1987. Then, he obtained his PhD degree in Ecole d’Applications des Hauts Polymères Strasbourg under the supervision of prof. Morand LAMBLA, about “New developments in the chemical modification of polyolefins in the molten state”. Then, he then joined CERDATO ARKEMA Research Center in Serquigny (Normandy, France) where he got different Research Manager positions during 30 years. Today, he is the Director of the R&D project Bio-Materials for ARKEMA. He is the author of 60 patents and around 110 papers and oral communications in congresses.
